Changelog

What's new in Inviboo. Every release, every breaking change, documented in plain English.

v2.4.0

Gantt view, team workload, and a faster board.

Our biggest shipping window of the year — timelines with real dependencies, capacity overlays, and a board render path that's 3× faster on large projects.

Added

  • Timeline view with task dependencies, milestones, and drag-to-reschedule.
  • Team workload panel with per-person capacity vs committed hours.
  • Bulk edit on Kanban — select multiple cards to move, relabel, or reassign.
  • New Keyboard Shortcuts palette (⌘K → Shortcuts).

Changed

  • Board render path rewritten — 2.8× faster on boards with 500+ cards.
  • Project sidebar now remembers collapsed state per workspace.
  • Search now matches across comments and file names, not only titles.

Fixed

  • Timezone drift on recurring tasks created in DST transitions.
  • Markdown paste in comments no longer strips nested lists.
  • File upload progress bar now shows a determinate value over 10 MB.
v2.3.1

Bug fixes and performance

A hotfix release addressing reports from the 2.3.0 rollout.

Fixed

  • Dark mode flashed light on first paint in Safari 17.4.
  • SSO redirect loop when workspace slug contained a hyphen.
  • Exports to CSV occasionally truncated on boards above 2,000 rows.
  • Avatar uploads over 5 MB failed silently — now surface a clear error.

Changed

  • Slack integration retries now use exponential backoff instead of fixed 5s.

Security

  • Bumped Node.js runtime to 22.11. No known active exploits — routine patching.
v2.3.0

Dark mode and a fresh brand.

Dark mode lands across every surface, paired with a refreshed visual identity and a new default theme.

Added

  • System-wide dark mode — follows OS preference by default, overridable per user.
  • New Inviboo brand: updated wordmark, blue + teal palette, and a quieter default accent.
  • Theme switcher in the top bar (light / dark / system).
  • High-contrast focus rings for keyboard navigation.

Changed

  • Rebuilt the design system on semantic tokens. Every component now inherits tone from workspace brand.
  • Typography upgraded to an optical-size-variable serif for long-form docs.

Fixed

  • Contrast on inline link underlines now passes WCAG AA on all surface tones.
v2.2.0

API v2 — typed, paginated, webhook-first.

A full rewrite of the public API with cursor pagination, partial responses, and first-class webhooks.

Added

  • New /v2 API surface with OpenAPI 3.1 schema, published generated clients for TypeScript, Python, and Go.
  • Webhook delivery with signed payloads and automatic replay from the admin UI.
  • Fields parameter for partial responses — fetch only what you render.
  • Per-integration API keys with scoped permissions.

Deprecated

  • /v1 endpoints now emit a Deprecation header. Sunset date is 2026-08-01.
  • Legacy webhook format (unsigned, no replay). Migrate before 2026-06-30.

Fixed

  • Project list endpoint now honors archived filter parameter correctly.
v2.1.0

Comments, mentions, and threads.

A proper conversation surface on every task. @mention teammates, resolve threads, pin decisions.

Added

  • Threaded comments on tasks, docs, and files.
  • @mentions with email + in-app notifications (respects your notification preferences).
  • Resolve + reopen on individual threads.
  • Emoji reactions on comments (because of course).

Changed

  • Notification digest now batches by project, not by time window.

Fixed

  • Duplicate notifications when a task was updated from two devices within 500ms.
v2.0.0

Redesigned onboarding.

A ground-up rethink of first-run. Most teams finish workspace setup in under four minutes.

Added

  • New onboarding flow with template gallery (Engineering sprints, Agency, Content calendar, Product launch).
  • Guided import from Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Linear, Jira with per-field mapping.
  • Sample workspace — explore every feature with realistic data, archive when you're done.

Changed

  • The empty state on a new board now suggests the right first action for the chosen template.
  • Workspace creation no longer requires a billing method — seat count adjusts at the first paid invite.

Removed

  • The old onboarding tour (14 screens, high abandon rate) is gone. Nobody misses it.
